Muay Thai

Muay Thai or Thai boxing is the national sport of Thailand. It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilises the entire body as a weapon. Muay Thai is known as the “art of eight limbs”, for the eight parts of the body that are used for striking: two hands, two legs, two elbows, and two knees.

At Power Core MMA, our Muay Thai classes are designed to ensure that students get a full-body workout, developing strength and stamina while perfecting technique to add power to your strikes. With bag work and Thai pads, battle ropes and body-weight exercises, you’ll be challenged to develop your fitness, strength, and condition.

Our Muay Thai programme is for everyone – whether you want to progress in your journey as a fighter, or are trying out combat sports for the first time. Our members, trainers, and coach join together to create a supportive environment where you can fast-track your progress towards your goals.
